I’m hearing both sides. We’re in a recession. The economy is booming. None of the economic data matters to me because it could all simply reflect transition in some form. The big AI transformation is underway, and nobody has any clue how that’s impacting things.
I talk to roughly a dozen CEOs and senior leaders a week, and all they can tell me is how their business is doing. Some say things are slow, but then, looking more closely, they are stuck on the wrong side of the AI evolution. Others can’t keep up. We think we’re doing well at Hudson Cloud Systems because of strong interest in what we do. It hasn’t converted to new business since I joined the company, but I think it will. The new engagements are serious.
