The Frustration Bubble
When Chelsea, my friend and assistant, and I drove the 7-Series to Oshkosh for AirVenture, we discovered a lot of little things about the car that I didn’t know, even after almost two months of driving it. Things like how the rear climate controls worked from the front seats, and how they reset, or the subtle variations in the sound system adjustments.
As we drove, I let out a big sigh, thinking about how hard it’s getting to stay on top of all the new features in modern cars. It’s like trying to learn anything from Microsoft; everything’s hidden five layers deep. Because I usually drive alone, I just get in and go, never worrying about rear-seat controls. But this time, we had both our dogs in the back, and we wanted to make sure they were comfortable in the hot, humid weather. Should’ve been simple. It wasn’t.
