Borrowed Time

I think about time differently now. When you’re young, you think you’ve got an unlimited supply. You waste it without even noticing. You kill an afternoon on nonsense, or worse, years in a job or a relationship that’s going nowhere. Back then, it doesn’t feel like wasting. You think you’re just “living.” The truth is, you were burning through the good stuff like it was cheap gas.
